INSTALLATION OF VULKAN POLYMER WELLS

VULKAN polymer-composite wells can be purchased and installed at any time of the year. However, it is still desirable to do this in the summer or warm season, since logically, digging frozen ground in winter is quite difficult. The construction of a sewage system from VULKAN polymer wells is quite simple – the main thing is that the sealant can work at the existing temperature.

Installation stages

Installation of polymer wells is carried out in five stages:

• unloading structural elements at the site;
• digging a pit of the appropriate size and depth;
• assembly of all parts into a single structure;
• connection to the sewage system;
• partial backfilling with soil.

Installation work is quite simple and does not require the involvement of highly qualified workers. It is important to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, calculate the required number of rings and the correct dimensions of the well.

Installation process

The weight of a single part of the structure does not exceed 45 kilograms. Therefore, two or three people are enough to unload the work. However, despite the high strength of the product, it is necessary to follow the rules for transporting parts of the polymer well. After all, the polymer is sensitive to mechanical damage. During transportation or storage, place a wooden pallet at the bottom, and also carry the rings themselves using wooden boards.

The depth of the dug hole depends on the desired depth of the well and the number of parts. The standard width is 120-130 centimeters, since the diameter of the rings is 110 cm, an additional 10 centimeters is needed so that it is easy to lower the structural elements into the pit.

Before lowering the base into the dug pit, pour sand, compact it. The thickness of such a layer should be 15-20 centimeters. The bottom of the structure is lowered onto this sand “pillow”. Then the groove is lubricated with bitumen mastic or sealant, after which the spike of the next part is fixed. Then the same thing happens. The grooves are lubricated with a sealant or bituminous mastic, after which the next part is placed on top. Thus, the entire structure is created. At the same time, the well can be mounted not only directly in the trench, but also before the descent. If you mount the well on the surface, you will need a crane or winch to move the finished structure to the mine.

The combination of polymer and quartz is easy to process, so if necessary, a drill with a crown for concrete or ceramics will be needed to make a hole in the polymer ring. Another advantage of this material is that its edges do not require additional polishing after processing. For better sealing, insert a rubber cuff into the hole.

After completing the installation work, connect the sewer pipes, check the tightness of the connections. To do this, you need to run water through the pipes and carefully monitor the presence of cracks. If nothing leaks, you can fill the space between the mine and the structure with earth and complete the installation of the sewer.
